Ride Control Systems
Traction Control
System (TCS)
TCS improves driving stability when
necessary, regardless of the type of
road surface or tyre grip, by
preventing the driving wheels from
spinning.
As soon as the driving wheels start
to spin, engine output is reduced
and the wheels are braked
individually. This considerably
improves the driving stability of the
vehicle on slippery road surfaces.
When four-wheel drive is active,
TCS is operational on the rear
wheels only.

vehicle's speed should always be
adjusted to suit road and traffic
conditions. Always maintain an
adequate distance to the vehicle
in front of you.
Operation
The
g
switch is located in front of
the selector lever.
In certain circumstances, it may be
helpful to deactivate the TCS.

Deactivate by pressing
g
for
approximately 2 seconds.
Traction Control Off is displayed
on the DIC.

TCS is reactivated by pressing
g
again, for approximately
2 seconds.
Traction Control On is displayed
on the DIC.

When active

TCS is also reactivated the next
time the ignition is turned on.
