21. If an extension cord is used during work with the device, its parameters must
comply with the ones specified in this User’s Manual.
22. Never touch an electric device if it has been immersed in water or water has
been spilled on it. Disconnect it from the mains immediately.
23. Do not touch the device with wet hands.
24. Never aim the steam stream at other people or animals.
25. Do not use the device in the vicinity of flammable fabrics (curtains, carpets). Do
not put the device next to sources of high temperature such as gas stoves or
electric ovens.
26. When not in use, place the device on an even and stable surface. When ironing
horizontally, make sure the surface is even and stable.
27. Disconnect the device from the mains when not in use or before cleaning.
Before moving or cleaning the device, wait for it to cool down.
28. Otherwise (if the device is covered or is touching a flammable material) there
is a risk of fire.
29. Do not clean the product using corrosive cleaning agents.
30. Danger of burns! Do not touch hot surfaces and avoid exposure to steam
emitted by the device. Hold the device only by its handle.
31. Never aim the steam stream at other people. The steam is hot and may cause
scalding!
32. Never aim the steam stream directly at electrical devices or devices with
electrical components (TV set, radio receiver, electric stove).
33. Do not aim the steam stream at unprotected wooden surfaces, unsuitable
grouts, cold glass, or plastics.
34. Never turn the device upside down or lay it on the side when it is turned on.
35. Never add any cleaning agents, fragrances, scented oils, or other chemicals to
the water tank. Such agents may damage the device and render its operation
dangerous.
36. Only use distilled or boiled water to fill the water tank.
37. Always disconnect the device from the mains before starting to fill or empty the
water tank.
38. Observe caution when emptying the water tank – risk of scalding with hot
water .
39. After using the device and prior to its maintenance, wait for it to cool down.
40. Use the device only for its intended purpose.
41. Keep the user’s manual and the packaging, if possible.
42. If you intend to hand this device over to another person, make sure this user’s
manual accompanies it.
