9. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING!
The device must not be submerged in water or washed
under running water!
Make sure your hands are dry before cleaning the unit. The device has
to be disconnected from the power supply.
Heating panels must not be disassembled.
Once the heating panels have cooled down, they can be cleaned using
kitchen appliances intended to be used with Teflon-covered surfaces
such as wooden, plastic or silicone spatula, paper towel or soft cloth.
For soiling that is more difficult to remove use a slightly dampened
paper towel or soft cloth.
The plastic surfaces of the device can be cleaned with a paper towel or
soft cloth.
10. PROBLEMS
In case of any problems with the device, please refer to the following
tips.
The device does
not function
when the plug is
plugged into the
mains.
Check that the plug or power cord is not damaged.
Check if the connection between the plug and power
supply is correct.
Check whether the electrical outlet is damaged -
select another one.
Sandwiches do
not toast evenly.
Check if the sandwiches are of similar thickness and
that the filling in them is not too wet or unevenly
distributed.
If the problem persists, contact the manufacturer's service
department.
