Installation
Observe any pre-start, starting and exit safety procedures outlined in your skid steer operator manual.
Have your skid steer operators, service manuals on hand and prepare your work area. Follow the
safe installation procedure.
To ensure a safe and secure assembly, a thread locking compound is required to be applied to all
bolts that thread into the pins or adapter. (Red Loctite 263 is recommended).
Hydraulic hoses and connectors from the adapter to the skid steer is the responsibility of the owner.
•
Have the attachment lowered to the ground, and tilted so the face is flat on the ground. Relieve
the auxiliary hydraulic pressure.
•
Turn the ignition key to ‘off’ position, do not run the engine.
•
Carefully remove the pins on the current attach-
ment to the loader lift arms and tilt cylinders
and set them aside. (see your skid steer service
manual for complete pin removal procedure)
•
Remove the old attachment from the immediate
work area.
•
Move the
BOQF10
series adapter in its place,
and roughly align the hitch plate bushings on the
adapter with the loader lift arm and tilt cylinder
bushings.
•
Inspect the bushings for wear, replace if necessary
.
•
Find the new pins that came with the adapter, and lightly coat them with grease.
•
Align the bushings, and carefully insert the pins.
•
Apply grease to the loader lift arms and tilt cylinder bushings as per maintenance section in the
skid steer operator’s manual.
