5.1 HPCI-MCAT520M, HCPCI-MNT720M

5.1.1 Installation on Windows 7 or later (32 bit)

(1) Before connecting the board to the PC, turn ON the PC to start Windows.

(2) Start CD drive:\x86\dpinst.exe.

(3) When "dpinst.exe" is started, click [Next] to proceed.

(4) After completing the installer, turn OFF the PC.

(5) With the PC turned OFF, connect the board to the PCI (CompactPCI) bus slot of the PC main unit. Then,

turn ON the PC.

(6) Installation of the device is executed automatically.

(7) Restart the PC to complete the installation.

5.1.2 Installation on Windows 7 or later (64 bit)

(1) Before connecting the board to the PC, turn ON the PC to start Windows.

(2) Start CD drive:\x64\dpinst.exe.

(3) When "dpinst.exe" is started, click [Next] to proceed.

(4) After completing the installer, turn OFF the PC.

(5) With the PC turned OFF, connect the board to the PCI (CompactPCI) bus slot of the PC main unit. Then,

turn ON the PC.

(6) Installation of the device is executed automatically.

(7) Restart the PC to complete the installation.

5.1.3 Installation on Windows XP

(1) Before connecting the board to the PC, turn ON the PC to start Windows.

(2) Start CD drive:\x86\dpinst.exe.

(3) When "dpinst.exe" is started, click [Next] to proceed.

(4) After completing the installer, turn OFF the PC.

(5) With the PC turned OFF, connect the board to the PCI (CompactPCI) bus slot of the PC main unit. Then,

turn ON the PC.

(6) When Windows is started, the system detects the board and automatically displays a screen for installing

the necessary device driver.

(7) Select [Install the software automatically (Recommended)].

(8) Follow the directions given by the system to complete the installation.

5.1.4 Installation on Windows 2000

(1) After making sure that the PC main unit is turned OFF, connect the board to the PCI (CompactPCI) bus

slot of the PC main unit. Then, turn ON the PC main unit to start Windows. When Windows starts, the

system detects the board and automatically displays a screen for installing the necessary device driver.

(2) When a system prompt for the installation source directory displays, insert the accompanying CD into the

CD drive.

(3) Select [Specify a location].

(4) Specify CD drive:\x86. Follow the directions given by the system to complete the installation.
