Please follow this quick start guide for a successful first
time set up.
We recommend that you spend some time reading this
instruction manual in order to fully understand all the
operational features it offers.

Remove all packaging from the unit. Retain the packaging. If you
dispose of it please do so according to any local regulations.
The following items are included:
The remote control requires a CR2025,
3V Lithium battery (included).
1. Slide and hold the battery release
tab in the direction of the arrow.
Mains Power
• This unit operates with a DC 12V 1.0A mains adapter (included).
• Connecting the unit to any other power source may cause damage to the unit. Unwind the mains adapter to its full length. Connect the mains adapter’s
DC plug to DC IN socket on the unit then connect the mains adapter to the mains socket, as shown below. Make sure the mains adapter is fully inserted
into the mains socket. The unit is now connected and ready to use.
• To switch the unit off completely, unplug the mains adapter from the mains socket.
1. Connect the mains adapter to DC IN socket on the unit then
connect the mains adapter to the mains socket.
• The LED indicator lights up red indicating that the battery is in
charging mode. When the battery is charged to full capactity, the
LED indicator goes green.
2. Remove the mains adapter. The battery is now fully charged and
the unit is ready to use.

remove the old battery.
3. Replace with a new battery.
4. Insert the battery holder back into
the remote control.

The Main Unit
*Battery Operation time from fully charged battery = Approx. 2 hours.
• Turn off the unit before unplugging the mains adapter from the unit to avoid the unit being damaged.
• When the unit is not going to be used for a long period of time, disconnect the mains adapter from the
mains socket.
• The mains socket must be located near the unit and should be easily accessible. If a malfunction occurs,
disconnect the plug from the mains socket at once.
• When the mains adapter is plugged in, the unit is not completely disconnected from the mains power
source, even when the unit is turned off.
1. Slide the ON/OFF switch to the
ON position.
2. Press the OPEN button to open
the disc cover.
3. Hold the disc by its sides and
carefully place onto the disc
holder with the label side facing
up. Gently push the disc down
until you hear a “click”.
4. Close the disc cover. The unit
starts playback if there are no
menus. If the disc has one or
more titles recorded on it, a
menu screen will appear on the
screen.
5. To play a title, press the
/ 0-9 buttons on the remote
control to highlight the title and then press the OK button on the
unit or the button on the remote control.

Removing the Insulating Strip from the Remote Control
Changing battery of the Remote Control
Remove the insulating mylar strip from the
battery if the battery is being used for the
first time. It is located at the bottom rear of
the remote control.
