Note:
The memory population is coded in one yellow memory slot and one black memory slot for each channel
(Two DIMMs
p
er
c
hannel).
You should
install the memory modules to all the available yellow DIMM slots
first
,
then the black DIMM slots for each processor for better performance.
Removing a Memory Module
1. Remove the mainboard sled. See
2. Remove the PCIe riser assembly. See

3. Remove the air duct. See
4. Remove the repeater module. See
5. Press down on the two ejector levers (A) at both ends of the DIMM slot. The memory
module partially ejects.
