Hitachi High-performance NAS Platform Components

Rear Panel

There are a number of LED indicators on the modules and PSUs. Each module has a 

Status LED (Green/Amber).

High-performance NAS Platform Rear Panel (Series 3000)

Note: 

Depending on the model of SIM module in your High-performance NAS 

Platform, the number of FC ports may be different than shown above. If your High-

performance NAS Platform is equipped with a SIM4324 it will have FC ports 5-8, all 

other SIM modules have only FC ports 1-4.

System shutdown has failed. Flashes once every three seconds. 

Flash (0.8Hz)

The High-performance NAS Platform needs attention, and a non-critical failure has 

been detected. For example, a fan or power supply has failed.

Normal operation.
