3 Loading/saving settings

The Switch saves settings such as the IB parameters and the port 
configuration in the temporary memory. These settings are lost when 
you switch off or reboot the device.
The Switch enables you to

save settings from the temporary memory in a permanent memory

load settings from a permanent memory into the temporary memory.
