(6) Enter the necessary information.
IP address
The IP addresses identify individual devices on the network.
Assign a unique address different from that of other devices.
Subnet mask
The subnet mask divides the IP address into the network address and the host address.
Configure the subnet mask settings in the same way as those of other devices on the
network.
Default gateway
For network connection
When your computer to be used (host device) connects to another network than the
instrument, specify a gateway device.
When your computer connects to the same network, usually assign the same address
as the default gateway in the computer communications settings.

(10) Tap the icon on the taskbar to restore the display to the

[User name]
and
[Password]
boxes in turn, and then enter your authorization user
name and password in each box
These are used when you log in to the FTP of the instrument or use the web browser installed in
the computer (When the authorization setting is set to
[On]
).
With the authorization setting configured, you can log in only when you enter the user name and
password same as those specified. Configuring this setting is recommended when you would like
to limit the users.
The password entered in the
[Password]
box is hidden behind the asterisks (*).
Characters you can use: Alphabetic characters and symbols (however, the colon [:] is prohibited.)
When you would like to allow anyone to access the network or log in as an “anonymous” FTP client,
leave the
[User name]
box and
[Password]
boxes blank.
