Setting FFT Calculation Conditions

Configuring the calculation result peak value settings

The instrument can display global or local maximum values of input signals and calculation results 

on the waveform screen.

The FFT calculation advanced setting window appears.

[Peak]

 box, and then from the list, choose a peak value type to be displayed.

Does not display any peak values.

Maximal value

Maximum value

Maximal

Displays the ten greatest values among 

maximal values. When a value of a data 

point is greater than values of both the 

adjacent points, the instrument determines 

that the point is a local maximum.

Maximum

Displays the ten greatest values.

 •

When the instrument does not find any peak values, it displays no values.

 •

The instrument can display peak values on the waveform screen, but no peak values can be 

stored in text-form files.

 •

Some split screens does not always display ten peak values. Such a screen displays as many 

values as possible in decreasing order.
