Saving Data
Freely choosing data items to be saved and save files ( SAVE key)
You can configure saving action setting the instrument performs when you press the SAVE key.
Selective save: After you press the SAVE key, the instrument allows you to configure the save
settings before saving data.
Quick save : Pressing the SAVE key causes the instrument to save data that consists of pre-
specified items.
You can save the following types of data:
• Waveform data
• Screenshot
• Numerical calculation result
• Setting
• Waveform generation data
• CAN text
> [Status] > [Save]

Tap the [Save key operation] button, and then choose a save method adopted when you
press the SAVE key.
Select
 Displays the dialog box to allow you to choose items to be saved and saves them.
The instrument displays the dialog box when you press the SAVE key to start a
measurement, which allows you to configure subsequent settings. This operation
cannot be executed if another dialog box is open.

Quick Immediately saves data consisting of pre-specified items.

Tap the [Media] box, and then choose a destination to save from the list. (See p. 102.)

Tap the [File name] box, and then enter a file name.
• Number of characters for a file name: Up to 100 characters
• The maximum length of a file name that includes its path: Up to 255 characters
