Accessory Connector Assembly Procedure

7.5 Accessory Connector Assembly Procedure

This instrument is provided with an EXT. I/O connector, EXT. I/O connector cover, and so on.
Assemble them according to the following procedure.

IMPORTANT

•

Use a shielded cable for connecting a PLC (programmable logic controller), etc. to the EXT. I/O
connector. Using any other type of cables can cause the system to malfunction due to noise.

• Connect the shield to the ISO_COM terminal of the EXT. I/O connector.
•

If you lose or damage the provided screws, contact your authorized Hioki distributor or reseller.

Assembly procedure

1

Solder the cable (shielded cable) to provided EXT. I/O connector (H).

2

Attach clamps (F) to the cable using screws (C).

3

Adjust clamps (F) so that they are located at the specified position of cover (A).

4

Attach screws (D) to protective plates (G).

5

Place connector (H), clamps (F), protective plates (G), and screws (D) on one side of cover (A).

6

Place the other side of cover (A) on top.

7

Secure cover (A) using screws (B) and nuts (E).

Excessively tightening the screws may damage the cover.
