Ending the Test

4.5 Ending the Test

The test is ended in any of the following situations.

• Press the

STOP

key.

• Turn ON the EXT.I/O stop signal.
• The set test time elapses.
• The test mode is set to the PASS STOP mode and a PASS judgment is made.
• The test mode is set to the FAIL STOP mode and a FAIL judgment is made.
• When the contact check function is ON, the contact check result is FAIL.
• When BDD stop function is ON, the BDD count is 1 or more.
• Send the

:STOP

command.

• The interlock activates.

WARNING

After the test is ended, remove the test leads from the DUT when the

TEST indicator turns off.

Otherwise, electric shock accidents may occur.

The measured value displayed immediately before the end of the test and the COMP are still
displayed.

Even after the test is ended, the TEST indicator does not turn off but is lit dimly in some cases.
This indicates that the charge remaining inside the DUT and instrument is still being discharged.

Discharge any remaining electric charge according to “4.6 Discharging Residual Electric Charge
(Auto Discharge Function)” (p. 56).

Remove the test leads after the TEST indicator turns off.
