Communications Method

Response message

A response message is created when the instrument receives a query message and checks the 

syntax.

If an error occurs when a query message is received, no response message is generated for that 

query.

Command syntax

This command has the following two formats.

 •

Long form that can easily be associated with functions

 •

Short form that is more compact

This manual indicates the short form in uppercase letters and the remaining long form in lowercase 
letters. The instrument recognizes the commands indicated in either type of letters.
