Avoid forcing the printer cover, as the hinge could break.

Changing the Recording Paper
3.1 Opening and Closing the Printer Cover
Opening the Printer Cover
1.
Hook your fingertip under the projecting part
of the printer cover, and pull it up slightly to
disengage the catch.
2.
Open the cover when the catch is disengaged.
Closing the Printer Cover
1.
Confirm that some paper is sticking out
before closing the printer cover.
2.
Align the hook in the cover with the catch on
the unit, and press the cover lightly until the
catch engages.
