Chapter 6 Maintenance and Service

Required tools
• Phillips screwdriver 1
• Wire cutter 1

Turn off the POWER switch,
then remove the AC Adapter
and batteries.

Turn over the instrument,
then remove the four screws
fastening the lower case.

Remove the lower case and
USB cover.

Remove the circuit board
from inside.

Use a wire cutter to cut off the
two leads of the lithium button
battery contained in the cor-
ner of the circuit board on
back of the upper case.
