INSTALLATION NOTES
The wide dynamic range allows this unit to be used in virtually all
applications where there is adequate signal and a two way
splitter with signal boosting is required (such as for long cable
runs). For very weak signal areas consider using a higher gain
antenna or masthead amplifier, such as the LNDA or Q-Amp.
The BA2/20 is designed for internal use only. Do not expose the
unit to moisture or extreme temperatures. Allow adequate
ventilation. The maximum ambient temperature in which the
amplifier should operate is 55°C.
Use the correct F-type connector for the selected cable and follow
the manufacturer's instructions when fitting the connector to the
cable.
Cut the coaxial cable to the correct length, allowing enough spare
cable for access to the equipment only.
Coiling unused cable, kinks or damaged cable may result in
unwanted interference and degradation of the frequency
response.
Do not modify the mains cable. If the mains cord is damaged,
contact your local Hills supplier for a replacement unit.
Noise or interference generated by a loop-through connection on
a PVR might be eliminated through use of the BA2/20 when
configured as in Fig 1 over-page.
