Drainage Bag Holders
The Advanta™ Bed has 4 drainage bag holders—two
centrally located at the sides of the bed, and two at the foot
end. The holders are recessed under the bed frame to allow
for normal siderail operation. The drainage bag holders can
accommodate any combination of the following drainage
devices:
•
Fecal incontinence bag
•
250/2000 ml Foley collection bag
•
PLEUR-EVAC®

on the foot end hooks (during
transport only)
When the bed is docked, place the PLEUR-EVAC® device or
other chest drainage devices on the floor and far enough from
the bed so as not to interfere with bed articulation.
CAUTION:
Do not tie restraints to the drainage bag holders.
Restraint Holders
The Advanta™ Bed facilitates vest, wrist, waist, and ankle restraints.
CAUTION:
Patient restraints are not intended as a substitute for good nursing practices.
CAUTION:
Restraints must be attached to the proper attachment points on the articulating sections of the bed. Failure to
do so could result in patient injury.
