4.9 Simplex Receptacle

Chapter 4: Removal, Replacement, and Adjustment Procedures

2. Using the screwdriver, tighten the terminal screws (G).

3. Push the new simplex receptacle (D) into the opening in the device mount

weldment (E).

4. Using the phillips head screwdriver, install the two screws (C) that secure

the simplex receptacle (D) to the device mount weldment (E).

5. Position the simplex receptacle faceplate (B) over the simplex receptacle.

6. Using the phillips head screwdriver, install the two screws (A) that secure

the simplex receptacle faceplate (B).

7. Test the simplex receptacle (D) for availability of power, and proper

grounding (refer to procedure 2.6).

Adjustment

No adjustment is required for the simplex receptacle (D).
