4.7 Powered Equipment Shelf Rocker Switch
Tools required: Screwdriver
Phillips head screwdriver
Removal
CAUTION:
Adhere to all electrical safety precautions when servicing the unit’s
electrical system. Failure to do so could result in equipment damage.
1. Place the On/Standby switch to the Standby position.
SHOCK HAZARD:
To minimize the risk of electrical shock or damage to equipment,
disconnect all electrical power to the CarePorter™ Cart before working
on it. Failure to do so could result in personal injury or equipment
damage.
2. Unplug the unit from its power source.
3. Disconnect the battery pack (refer to procedure 4.1).
4. Set the brake casters to the brake position.
5. Using the phillips head screwdriver, remove the two screws (A) from the
rocker switch faceplate (B) (see figure 4-8 on page 4-25).
