NOTE:

As the hex rod is pushed through the caster, the caster will fall off the bed 
frame.

8. If necessary, remove the bolt (K) and nut (L) that attach the linkage (M) to 

the rocker arm (J).

9. Remove the bolt (N) and washer (O) that attach the swivel caster (P) to the 

bed frame (D).

10. Go to “Replace the Foot End” on page 4-57.

Remove the Head End

WARNING:

Put caster blocks behind the casters at the opposite end of the bed. 
Failure to do so could cause injury.
