Chapter 10 Backup Configuration
10.1 USB Backup Settings
Purpose:
You can export data to USB backup device.
Before you start:
Insert a USB backup device into the USB interface in rear panel.
Step 1
Go to Configuration > Remote Configuration > Backup Configuration > USB Backup
Settings.

Step 2
Select USB Backup as Enable.
Step 3
Set Backup Mode.

Select Backup Period as Real-Time Backup or Backup Every Day. The recommend one
is Real-time Backup.
Real-Time Backup: Export pictures and video files immediately to USB backup device,
once terminal server receives any data.
Backup Every Day: Export pictures and video files of last day in every 0 a.m.

Set Backup Start Time to export historical files.
Step 4
Select the Data Type to backup.
Step 5
Set Saving Path and File Name. We take setting the file name and directory for backing up
license plate picture as an example.

Click the text field after the License Plate Picture Name. The following menu pops up.
