4.3 Reset Device Password
If you forget your device password, just reset your password by exporting and importing a GUID
file.
Steps
1. Click Device Management, and select the desired device from the online device list and click
Reset Password.

2. Click Export to export the GUID file in XML format to your local computer.
3. Provide the GUID file to your technical support engineer for generating a key file.
4. After receiving the key file, click Import to import the file into your device.
Your device password is cleared for you to set a new one.
5. Enter a new password and confirm the password.
Caution
We highly recommend you to create a strong password of your own choosing (using a minimum
of 8 characters, including at least three kinds of following categories: upper case letters, lower
case letters, numbers, and special characters) in order to increase the security of your product.
And we recommend you reset your password regularly, especially in the high security system,
resetting the password monthly or weekly can better protect your product.
6. Click OK.
4.4 View Device Information
You can view device information such as the device type, serial No., or version No. on the client.
