Frame Trigger Mode Sequence Diagram
If Acquisition Burst Frame Count = 3, a trigger signal outputs 3 images. Strobe output control is
equivalent to single frame trigger mode. The line frequency and exposure time determines frame
trigger time.
6.2.5 Set Line + Frame Trigger Mode
In this mode, both line trigger and frame trigger are on, the camera's external frame trigger signal
and line trigger signal is required. The line number of a frame is controlled by the frame height
register. The line rate is controlled by an externally supplied line trigger signal, while being limited
by the internal configured value. The line trigger signal will work only after the camera receives
frame trigger signal.
In this mode, the camera has Frame Timeout function. After enabling this function, the camera will
output image regardless of whether it has accumulated to one frame within the configured frame
timeout time. You can go to Acquisition Control > Frame Timeout Enable to enable this function.
In line + frame trigger mode, regarding to different conditions, the camera has various processing
mechanism as follows.
If the Frame Timeout function is disabled, the line trigger signal will work only after the
camera receives frame trigger signal. When the outputted line number reaching specific frame
height, the camera outputs a frame image and then it no longer detects line trigger signal. At
this point, the camera returns to the wait status for frame trigger signal, and the previously
received frame trigger signals are invalid.
If the Frame Timeout function is enabled, the line trigger signal will work only after the
camera receives frame trigger signal. When the outputted line number reaching specific frame
height within frame timeout time, the camera outputs a frame image and then it no longer
detects line trigger signal. At this point, the camera returns to the wait status for frame trigger
signal, and the previously received frame trigger signals are invalid.
If the Frame Timeout function is enabled, the line trigger signal will work only after the
camera receives frame trigger signal. When the outputted line number not reaching specific
frame height, the camera supplements black color for the remaining lines, outputs a frame
