STEP 1
Connect Leg Assembly to the Seat Base
Position and hold Leg Assembly (A) and Seat Base (B) together,
and attach by inserting two Carriage Bolts (C) into the pre-drilled
holes on the side of the Seat Base as shown in Image #1. Repeat on
other side.
Note:
Holes are pre-drilled for the Carriage Bolt to pass through,
but use a hammer to fi rmly tap the bolt end several times so that the
square neck sinks into the highwood
®
material.
Attach Flange Nut (D) to the carriage bolt from the inside of
seat base and tighten so that it further pulls the bolt neck into the
material leaving just the dome fl ush with the surface.
Before you start
This assembly can be done by one person alone, however it is much
easier when two people work as a team.

STEP 2
Attaching Seat Braces
With the bench fl ipped upside down, and the Highwood Logo
facing you, position Seat Brace (G) under the front leg of the
seat and attach it to the leg and seat base using two 2-1/4"
screws (F) in the pilot holes as show in Image #3 below.
Repeat on other side.

Using two Wood Screws (E) fi nish attaching the Leg Assembly
to the Seat Base by inserting the Wood Screws into the pilot
holes as shown in Image #2. Repeat on other side.
