Image Kiosk™ TT8870 Programming Guide

Aimer Mode

This feature allows you to lower peak current during scanning by alternating the
aimer and illumination LEDs. When the

Interlaced

bar code is scanned, the

aimer and illumination LEDs are not allowed to be on at the same time. While
this does limit peak current during scanning, the scanner performance may be
slower. When the

Concurrent

bar code is scanned, the aimer and illumination

LEDs are allowed to light at the same time. Select

Off

if you don’t want to use

either aimer mode.
