Resetting the administrator password
If the password for the default administrator account is lost, it can be reset to the factory default by any user with
administrator privileges.
Procedure
1. Use the
set password default
command to reset the administrator default password.

2. After resetting the administrator password to the factory default, you must immediately change it to a secure
password again.

Updating HPE Superdome Flex Server firmware
This topic describes how to update HPE Superdome Flex Server firmware using a system firmware bundle. For information
about other update methods, see the "Firmware Update" section of the
www.hpe.com/support/superdomeflex-
management-whitepaper white paper.
Procedure
IMPORTANT: Do not stop the firmware update while it is in progress. Doing so can place the system in an unusable
state. Make sure that AC power to the system remains in place throughout the update process.
2. On the HPE Superdome Flex Server page select the appropriate operating system.
3. Choose one of the following methods from the firmware bundles labeled Firmware (Entitlement Required):
