4.3 Installation
The HE 5697 MFC is intended for installation in a control cabinet door or control panel.
Note!
During installation it must be ensured that

the distance to the next device or wall is at least 20 mm.

sufficient space is required between the rear of the device and the wall for the
supply line and the interface cables.
Note!
The ambient temperature at the installation position may not exceed the permis-
sible temperature for rated use listed in the Technical data section. The special
provisions should be observed, see chapter 2.2 "Safety during the individual
phases of operation"
on page 10 .
*Ensure a minimum distance of 20 mm from
device front to device front.
1. Cut a cut-out (92 × 92 mm +0.8 mm tol-
erance) in the control cabinet door or
control panel.
2. Push the HE 5697 MFC horizontally
from the front into the cut-out.
