d) Choose the location least exposed to cooling for the duct. If possible, have the
chimney in the interior of the house.
g) The internal walls must be perfectly smooth and free from obstacles. Avoid
constriction in the joints of the tubing with chimney of the building.

h) It is very important that the joints of the tubes are very well sealed to block
possible cracks which may allow air to enter.

To check the sealing of the chimney do the following:
- Block the outlet in the roof.
- Put paper and damp straw through the lower part of the chimney and light
them.
- Check for possible cracks through which smoke escapes and seal them.
