Hercules Wireless Dual Band
User Manual – 3/63
INTRODUCTION
A local area
network allows users to easily exchange data between computers located in the same room
or in different rooms, share an Internet connection and/or a printer among several computers, play network
games and, above all, does away with the need for kilometers worth of cables.
By following the instructions in this manual, you can install a local area WiFi network on your own and also
create a protective "wall" around your network to secure it.
Finally, thanks to your Wireless Dual Band key, you will now be able to enjoy faster transfer speeds along with
enhanced coverage and experience the new world of wireless networking.

If you connect your Hercules Wireless Dual Band to a USB 1.1 bus, Windows may inform you that
your device will function at a reduced speed. Instead of providing theoretical transfer rates of 300Mbits/s,
Hercules Wireless Dual Band will instead be limited to 12Mbits/s.
