Maintaining drawers

CAUTION:
Follow these precautions when opening drawers:

Do not pull out more than one drawer at a time. Having more than one drawer
open at a time may cause the agitator to roll forward and cause injury.
►
Do not use the label holder to pull out the drawer. The holder may break
away from the handle after repeated use. Grasp the drawer handle instead.
Keep the slots in the drawer guides free of debris. Lubricate the drawers as needed by applying a thin film
of petroleum jelly underneath the sides of each drawer.

To remove a drawer

Grasp the center of the drawer handle and pull out the drawer until it stops, lifting lightly as you pull.
If a drawer is difficult to open, gently push it closed and try again, making sure that you are pulling the
drawer straight out. At the full open position, the tabs on each side of the drawer are right behind the
spring-loaded stops on the drawer guides.

While pressing the stops, slide the drawer out until the tabs on the drawer are in front of the stops.

Continue pulling the drawer out and remove it from the agitator storage frame.
To install a drawer

Align the sides of the drawer with the slots in the drawer guide, and push the drawer into the storage
frame until it stops.

While pressing the spring-loaded stops, slide the drawer into the storage frame until the tabs on the
drawer are behind the stops.

Gently push the drawer all the way into the storage frame until it stops.
