Muting audible alarms on Horizon Series models
NOTE:
This section only applies to Horizon Series models.
You can temporarily mute active audible alarms for high and low temperature conditions. The mute time
is equal to the alarm delay period. For more information about the alarm delay period, see Section 5.2.1,
“Delaying temperature alarms.”
Muting audible alarms does not disable the visual alarm or signals sent through the remote alarm interface.

To mute an active audible alarm

Open the control door and press the mute button. The alarm is muted for the preset alarm delay period.
If the alarm is still active after the delay period has elapsed, the audible alarm is resumed.

Enabling and disabling audible alarms on Horizon Series models
NOTE:
This section only applies to Horizon Series models.
You can enable or disable the sound for audible alarms by using the key switch. Disabling the sound does
not disable alarm messages or lights on the temperature controller or the signals that are sent through the
remote alarm interface. Keys are shipped from the factory either in the accessories box or in the key switch.

To enable the sound for all audible alarms

(PC4200h models) Using the alarm key, turn the key switch to Position 1.
