Preparing the alarm system on Horizon Series incubators

Turn off the incubator and disconnect it from AC power. The power failure alarm will sound.

On top of the incubator, remove the access panel and locate the alarm volume control on the alarm board.

Using the screwdriver, increase or decrease the volume by turning the alarm volume control clockwise
to the appropriate position. At the lowest setting, the alarm is very faint but still audible.

Install the access panel on the incubator, and connect to AC power.

Changing the volume for the motion alarm
NOTE:
This section only applies to PC4200h models, which have a built-in agitator.
You can control the volume for the audible motion alarm through the alarm volume control. The alarm
volume control for the motion alarm is located on the rear of the incubator. For more information, see
Section 2.3.1, “Touring the alarm output area.”

The audible motion alarm has three volume settings. At the factory, the volume is set to the middle setting.
To change the volume for the audible alarm

Slide the alarm volume control to the appropriate position for the desired volume level.
