The definitive number of modules connected in parallel depends on the plant topology
(Inverter sizing according to known practice, protection means, etc). To avoid electrical shock,
ground the understructure of the module before wiring the circuit, using a grounding method that
meets the appropriate standards or directive requirements for grounding solar electrical
systems. Such grounding means shall be isolated from live parts by reinforced insulation.

The solar cables are equipped with the MultiContact pin-and-socket connector system
for PV.

The plugs are marked with the respective polarity. The MINUS pole is minus-coded, the
PLUS pole plus-coded.

The junction box with cables, assembled in the factory for the electrical connection of the
modules, must never be opened.

If additional cables are needed, use only appropriate cables.

The solar modules generate electricity when exposed to sunlight. Take care not to short
circuit the output cables. The cables can become overheated and their cables sheaths
can melt.

Make sure
you don’t overstretch the Junction Box cables as shown in the following
pictures, to avoid water penetration into the Junction Box.

Be absolutely sure to interconnect
the modules’ according to the correct polarity. Reverse
polarity may destroy the protective diodes!
Consult local codes, applicable laws and statutes concerning required permits and
regulations regarding installations and inspection requirements. Install solar modules and
systems according to applicable codes.
