Evaporating flask: Angle and immersion depth

Flask angle

The evaporating flask angle can be adjusted by turning the drive.

 

✓

The rotation is switched off.

 

✓

The evaporating flask is mounted (see chapter “Operation”, section “Mounting the 

evaporating flask”).

 

➜

Slide the locking mechanism on lift 

column to the right and hold it against 

the spring force.

 

➜

Turn the condenser carefully until the 

connected evaporating flask has the 

correct angle. Ensure that the flask 

can rotate freely and does not touch 

anything.

 

➜

Release the locking mechanism. 

 

➜

If necessary, turn the condenser 

slightly until the drive unit locks in 

place.
