Dismantling, transportation and storage
Emptying the device
Warning!
Frostbite
You could suffer frostbite if you come into contact with the thermal
fluid while emptying it.
Switch off the device at an early stage before emptying it so that the
thermal fluid can warm up to room temperature.
Always wear protective gloves and protective clothing when emptying
the device.

Switch the device OFF.
➜
Allow the device and the thermal fluid to cool down or warm up to room temperature.
➜
Position a container with a sufficient capacity directly underneath the drain screw.
The thermal fluid will immediately flow out of the device when the
drain screw is opened.

Turn the drain screw in an anticlockwise direction to open it.
➜
Observe the regulations for the disposal of used thermal fluid (also see
chapter“Safety, Disposal”).
Emptying the refrigerant
Danger!:
Risk of injury! Risk of poisoning! Risk of serious environmental
damage!
The refrigerant unit is under pressure (19 - 28 bar) and contains
substances harmful to the environment. Improper emptying of the
refrigerant could result in a serious risk of poisoning and also risks to
the environment.
The refrigerant in the internal cooling circuit may only be emptied by a
qualified refrigeration technician.
Transportation and storage

Only store and transport the device and its components after emptying, cleaning and
dismantling it down to the basic device.
➜
When lifting the device, wear protective gloves and grip underneath the device.
➜
Store and transport the device and its components in the original packaging or in
another suitable container to prevent any damage.
➜
Carefully seal the packaging against any unauthorized or unintentional opening.
➜
Store the device in a dry and frost-free location.
Improper storage and transport may result in damage to the device
and the mechanical components in the device.
Avoid jolts and vibrations when transporting the device.
