2. Now press the learn key (1) on the side of the heatapp! repeaters S with an unfolded paper clip for 2-3 seconds. If
the heatapp! gateway recognizes the heatapp! repeater S , the heatapp! repeater S is added to the heating
configuration.
3. Assign a name to the heatapp! repeater S , e.g. ground floor hall.
4. To complete the registration, press the learn key (1) 2-3 times at intervals of one second until the registration button
in the Gateway Menu is enabled.
11.7.6 heatapp! repeater S installation
Position the heatapp! repeater S between the non-accessible radio component and the heatapp! gateway , so that it has a good
connection to the heatapp! gateway .
Prior to mounting, check that the selected installation location is suitable for ensuring communication between the inaccessible
radio components and the heatapp! gateway.
1. Change to connection status and tap on the “Radio system” key button and then “Repair radio system” so that the
other radio components detect the new repeater.
2. Repeat the connection test as described in chapter “Excluding of radio components
3. Excluding is performed analogously to including. Instead of the button " Include ", use the " Exclude " button and
perform the previously described steps Verbindungstest und Funksystem reparieren” on page 29.
If you still do not have a working connection to one or more radio components, then the wireless coverage is still inadequate!

Relocate the heatapp! repeater S in another location so that all radio components can be reached.

If this does not work, add a further heatapp! repeater S to improve wireless coverage.

Ensure that no pipes or cables are routed in the wall beneath the mounting location that could be damaged by the
installation.

Disconnect the power supply of the heatapp! repeater S.

Separate the upper casing (3) from the lower casing (4).

Screw the lower casing (4) in place on the wall (6) in the desired mounting position through the fastening holes (5).

Place the upper casing (3) on top of the lower casing (4) and reconnect the power supply.
11.7.7 Fixed wiring
Alternatively the heatapp! repeater S can be permanently installed on a flush wall socket. A flush-mounting power supply with
the following specifications is required:
Output voltage 4.5 V …. 6.0V
Standard for compliance of radiated emissions EN 61000-6-6, EN 61000-6-4 (one of these standards must be complied with).
11.7.8 Resetting heatapp! repeater S
To reset the heatapp! repeater S to factory settings, the learn key is pressed for 7-10 seconds. Then the LED begins to flash at
regular intervals. Confirmation of successful resetting is indicated by a steady 2 second light.
