11.7.1

Installation heatapp! repeater

Unpack the

heatapp! repeater

and plug it into a free 230V outlet, which is located between the

heatapp! gateway

and the radio

modules to be covered.

11.7.2

Including heatapp! repeater at heatapp! gateway

In the menu of the

heatapp! gateway

select the menu item "

Register / deregister

" under "

Radio modules

" and then

Register

Now press the learn key (1) on the side of the

heatapp! repeater

. If the

heatapp! gateway

recognises the

heatapp!

repeater

, the heatapp! repeater is added to the heating configuration. The LED (2) on the heatapp! repeater lights

up permanently when there is a radio connection to the heatapp! gateway.

Repeat the connection test according to the description in section "Connection test and Repair radio system"

If you still do not have a working connection to one or more radio modules, then the wireless range is still insufficient!
•

Relocate the

heatapp! repeater

in another location so that all radio modules can be reached.

•

If this does not work, add a further

heatapp! repeater

to improve wireless coverage.

11.7.3

Reset heatapp! repeater

To reset the heatapp! repeater to the factory settings, press the button until the LED starts to flash. This may take up to
50 seconds.

Note

heatapp! repeater

s are communication transmitters. They forward the received telegrams without changing them. When

positioning repeaters, it must be ensured that they can communicate with the

heatapp! gateway

or another repeater as well as

with the non-accessible radio components.

Take the

heatapp! repeater S

out of the packaging and connect it to the power cable. Plug the power cable into a free 230V

outlet.

Activate register mode on the

heatapp! gateway

(see also the operating instructions under www.heatapp.de).
