repeater S are used to improved the wireless coverage in a

heatapp!

system. If one or more

radio components cannot be reached, a repeater is used to enable/improve communication.

heatapp! repeater

and

heatapp! repeater

S are an enhancement for the heatapp! system. They improve the wireless coverage

and thus stabilise the system.

All Z-wave repeaters are communication transmitters. The received telegrams of other radio components are transmitted
from/to the gateway or other repeaters. They have no heating-relevant control function in the

heatapp!

system, rather are

required to ensure reliable communication.

The

heatapp! repeater

is used if there is no wireless connection between the radio components and the

heatapp! gateway

due

to the limited wireless coverage.

The

heatapp! repeater

is positioned between the radio component and the

heatapp! gateway

Note

Our heatapp! repeater (article number: 9600920000) will no longer be available from May 2019!

AEON Labs Aeotec Range Extenders DSD37-ZWEU are still recognised as a heatapp! repeater.

Moreover, all Z-wave repeaters can be integrated in the heatapp! system. They are indicated by an

“R” in the gateway menu.
