2. Connect the power supply to the heatapp! floor according to the terminal assignment .
The operating indicator lights up in green when the heatapp! floor is ready for use.
When connecting the power supply, VDE 0100 or the corresponding national regulations must be observed.
11.5.4 Including / excuding at heatapp! gateway
1. In the menu of the heatapp! gateway select the menu item "Include and exclude" under " Radio modules " and then
" Include ". You are requested to press the learn key (10).
2. Press the learn key (10) for 2 seconds (see also “Functions of the learn key, line "b").
3. As soon as the heatapp! gateway detects the heatapp! floor , you will be requested to enter a name (e.g. Ground
floor).
4. In the menu of the heatapp! gateway , check under " Radio modules ", whether the heatapp! floor was successfully
registered or deregistered
5. Assign the individual channels of the heatapp! floor to the rooms that have been created in the heatapp! base
menu.
11.5.5 Connection test
1. In the heatapp! gateway , select menu item "Connection status" . You can now see a list of the included radio
components and their connection status.
2. Click on the button "Connection test" and then "Start connection test" .
3. Press the learn key (10) once (see also Fig. 63 “Functions of the learn key heatapp! floor”, row “a”).
If a successful connection is made the corresponding heatapp! sense is labelled with a green dot in the menu of the
heatapp! floor .
If no connection can be made, try to change the location of the aerial.
If this is not successful, then if necessary an external heatapp! repeater must be used to improve wireless coverage.
11.5.6 Reset
Activating reset returns the device to its factory settings. To do this, press the learn key (10) for 7 seconds until the LED flashes
(see also Fig. 63 “Functions of the learn key heatapp! floor”, row “d”).
