11 Functions of the room- and radio components
11.1 heatapp! sense-wire

heatapp! sense-wire is a wired temperature sensor for measuring the room temperature in heatapp! base/baseT2B. The device
is mounted on the wall and connected to the E1 input of the heatapp! base/heatapp! base T2B .
For example, heatapp! sense-wire replaces a room station.
heatapp! sense-wire is automatically detected by heatapp! base. Registration is not necessary.
For example, heatapp! sense-wire is used in a control system according to the reference room principle. heatapp! base
determines the heat requirement based on the difference between the setpoint and current temperature.
11.1.1 heatapp! sense- wire installation

Select a suitable installation location. Ensure that no pipes or cables are routed in the wall beneath the mounting location
that could be damaged by the installation.

Ensure that a connection to the heatapp! base/T2B can be established at the installation location.

Route the connecting cable to the sensor through the opening on the casing bottom and screw the casing bottom to the
wall through the fastening holes.

Connect the cable, which is polarity-insensitive, to the connection terminals on the heatapp! sense-wire and the
connection terminals E1 and GND of the heatapp! base/T2B .
11.1.2 Closing the casing
Place the casing top on top of the casing bottom.
11.1.3 heatapp! sense- wire startup
In the setup wizard, select the heatapp! base/T2B with the energy generator/single room heat regulation “off”, to activate the
input E1 of the heatapp! base/T2B as the room sensor ((E1:EF for sensor input). Activate the heatapp! sense-wire for one of the
available room groups.
Follow the setup wizard, until heatapp! base/T2B is completely set up.
