You can use this item with any compatible, Bluetooth
®
-enabled device to stream music and
enjoy hands-free calling. In order to get the best results when using this device, please read
this manual first before using. This unit has IPX 5 rating: Protected against low-pressure water
jets from all directions.
OPERATION

PAIRING
1. Turn the speaker ON.
2. Turn the Bluetooth
®
ON in your device settings and select “HRSP 5024”.
3. Once paired successfully, speaker will chime and the blue LED will blink quickly.
4. If you fail to pair your device or you want to pair it with a new device please repeat the
steps outlined above.
NOTE: The speaker will automatically pair with previously paired devices provided the
Bluetooth
®
is ON and within range (10m).
When you disconnect the speaker while paired, the blue LED light will start to blink quickly
and the speaker will chime. The speaker has entered into pairing mode. If there is no device
paired within 5 minutes, the speaker will turn OFF.
CHARGING
This speaker has a built-in rechargeable Li-Ion battery.
Fully charge the speaker before first
use.
Charge the battery as follows:
Use the included charging cable to fully charge the speaker before first use. It will take
approximately 2.5 hours to fully charge using a PC USB port.
• The red LED will be ON while the speaker is charging
• The green LED will turn OFF once charging is complete
NOTE:
When the battery is at 10% the red LED will flash quickly, at 3% the speaker will
turn OFF.
USING THE POWER BANK
1. The unit has a charging out feature to support your portable devices with a back-up power
supply.
2. Connect your portable device by its charging cable to the USB port.
3. Press the button.
Green LED ON= 67-100% battery life.
Orange LED ON=34 - 66% battery life.
Red LED ON=less than 33% battery life.
The charging current is 2.1A max
HANDS-FREE SPEAKERPHONE
When a smartphone is connected to your speaker follow the steps below to take calls
hands-free.
1. If there is an incoming call while streaming music, the speaker will beep to notify you.
2. Press the button to pick up the call; press the button again to hang up the call.
3. Press and hold the button for one second to reject the call.
4. To return a call, press and hold the button.
LINE-IN
1. Use the supplied 3.5mm cable to connect the speaker directly to your device.
The Bluetooth
®
will disconnect and the speaker will play music from LINE-IN. The green LED
will be ON when playing music using line-in.
TWS (TRUE WIRELESS STEREO) CONNECTION
Connect two HR Maximus speakers for a true wireless stereo experience. To connect:
1. Turn the Bluetooth
®
feature on your smartphone OFF and ensure neither speaker is
connected to any device via Bluetooth
®
.
2. Turn both speakers ON and place within 7m (22.9ft) of each other. Press the button
on one of the speakers twice the LED will flash blue and green and they will pair
automatically. After successful pairing, the blue LED on the main speaker will flash slowly
and the blue LED on the second speaker will turn ON.
3. Turn the Bluetooth
®
ON in your device settings and select “HRSP 5024”. After pairing to
your phone, both blue LEDs will stay ON.
4. To disconnect, press and hold the

TROUBLESHOOTING
No Sound:
• Ensure the speaker is charged and has enough battery power for operation
• Ensure the speaker is switched ON
• Ensure Bluetooth
®
device is ON
• The volume of the speaker is too low, adjust the volume to an appropriate level
