3.5  HEIGHT AND PATIENT SURFACE 

ADJUSTMENT

3.5.11 Emergency Drop Back

This chair is equipped with a manual override 
function for the back section of the chair. This 
option should only be used in an emergency 
situation. To activate the emergency drop 
back, support the back section and pull 
outward on the red activating handle located 
on the patient right side under the seat to the 
rear (Figure 3.5-6).

Info: When activating the emergency drop, 

depending on the back angle, you may 

need to push the back in order to initiate 

movement.
