) Approved corrosion protection followed by approved paint
must be applied to all aluminum blades.
(a)
For information concerning the application of corrosion
protection and paint, refer to the Maintenance Practices
chapter of this manual.
(b)
Operation of blades without the specified coatings and
finishes, i.e., “polished blades”, is not permitted.
C. Continued Airworthiness
(1)
Operators are urged to stay informed of airworthiness
information via Hartzell Service Bulletins and Service
Letters which are available from Hartzell distributors,
or from the Hartzell factory by subscription. Selected
information is also available on Hartzell Propeller’s web site
at www.hartzellprop.com.
