Diamond Series™
6.2.5.3
Failsafe
Failsafe interlock has been opened by the station remote control or other device
connected to the failsafe terminals on the System I/O board.
6.2.5.4
External Interlock
This fault will show up on the GUI Control Cabinet screen as an External Interlock with
a number in the box. The number will be 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 and could also say “exciter” if
the exciter mute is used. The number allows the operator to quickly know which
interlock has tripped.
NOTE:
Note that if multiple interlocks are used the display could read 15 or 23 etc..
which actually means interlocks 1 and 5 or interlocks 2 and 3 have been tripped.
6.2.5.5
AC Mains Fault
AC power dropped below threshold which is set via controls on the Life Support Board.
Configuration saved to micro, and micro resets itself. No OFF command is sent to PA
Cabinets which are now operating independently. When AC power returns to the
Control Cabinet, it will issue an ON command (provided transmitter was ON when ac
failed) to make sure all PA Cabinets are turned on.
6.2.5.6
LVPS Fault
Low-voltage power supply failure. No effect as long as the other supply is working.
Non-latching. The GUI will diplay a LVPS A or LVPS B fault to let the operator know
which supply needs to be replaced.
6.2.5.7
Com Fail
There are 3 possible com failures that could show up on this screen:
a.
TCP/IP
b.
Harris Protocol RS-232
c.
