Caution
Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) caution
• Follow static precaution at all times when handling this unit.
• Always wear an ESD-preventive wrist or ankle strap when handling
electronic components. Connect one end of the strap to an ESD jack or an
unpainted metal component on the system.
• Handle cards by the faceplates and edges only; avoid touching the printed
circuit board and connector pins.
• Place any removed component on an antistatic surface or in a static
shielding bag.
• Avoid contact between the cards and clothing.
• Periodically check the resistance value of the antistatic strap.
Recommended value is between 1 and 10 mega-ohms (Mohms).

Laser radiation warning
Invisible laser radiation may be emitted from disconnected fibers or connectors.
Do not stare into beams or view directly with optical instruments. Never operate
a unit with a broken fibre or with a separated fiber connector.
