7.6 Base sheave
Both Winch Air 250 and Winch Air 300 can be equipped with aluminum base sheave:
Base sheave is used on boats equipped with a reduced number of winches, for example short-handed
sailing yachts, to feed a line to another winch.
Winch Air is equipped with a free spinning base sheave (not ratchet).
NOTE!
To have any information about the correct use of
the rope around the base sheave, see the ‘Use’
chapter of this manual.
7.7 Deck integrated version
The deck integrated version is available only for Winch Air 250: Winch is installed on a portion of the deck
preliminary laminated with Harken deck mold.
In this case, winch is not equipped with base: winch is directly installed on the laminated deck.
The winch is supplied with a plastic disposable base useful for shipping and transport of the winch.
The plastic base is removed at the moment of the installation of the winch.
Harken deck mold is provided by Harken and shipped with the package of the winch.

7.8 First speed lock
Winch Air can be equipped with the first speed lock kit.
NOTE!
At the order, user must specify the first speed lock kit equipment.
