13. Installation with first speed sensor
Optionally, Winch 1130 can be equipped with 1st gear recognition sensor.
The inductive gear sensor is useful to give to the user of the 3 speeds winch an information
about the gear engaged during the operating conditions, to understand if the 1st gear is
engaged or not.
If the 1
st
speed is engaged, sensor provides a signal and LED lights.
If LED does not light or the signal is not sent, verify if sensor is properly positioned and
powered.
In the operating conditions the sensing surface has to be closed enough to the central axle
system: a distance included between 1 mm and 2 mm is the optimal condition for the correct
working of the inductive sensor.
At a distance greater than 4mm, the inductive sensor of the 1
st
speed system does not detect
the 1
st
gear engagement.
