1% = .1, 10% = 1.0, 100% = 10.0, on the front panel display.

Setting the Rate Exception Control Parameters.
•
REC LEVEL - is used to determine the percentage of error
allowed before the HI 2160RC
PLUS
jumps from closed loop to
REC mode. Lower values yield a higher sensitivity. Monitor the
OP% value while running a batch. Calculate the REC LEVEL
by using this formula:
(High OP% - Low OP%) x 0.1/2 = REC LEVEL
NOTE:
Use a moderate range to avoid frequent inadvertent jumps into REC mode.
b.Rate Exception Control Time - Used to determine the time the unit
must remain in the REC mode to get an alarm condition.
c.Rate Exception Control Shutoff - If "YES" is selected, the feeder will
stop at the completion of the REC time. If "NO" is selected the feeder
will continue to run in REC mode with the alarm relay energized.

Setting the Rate Exception Control (REC LEVEL)
Step 1. Press the Config button.
Step 2. Enter the security code number.
Step 3. Press the Enter button.
Step 4. Press the down arrow
↓
until the cursor is to the left of the
Tuning Control sub-menu.
Step 5. Press the Enter button.
Step 6. Press the down arrow
↓
until the cursor is to the left of the
REC LEVEL sub-menu.
Step 7. Use the numeric keys to enter an REC LEVEL calculated
in the formula above.
Step 8. Press the Enter button to accept the entered value.
Step 9. Press the down arrow
↓
until the cursor is to the left of the
REC TME (SEC) sub-menu.
Step 10. Press the Clear button to clear the time.
Step 11. Use the number keys to enter a new REC time.
Step 12. Press the Enter button to accept the REC time.
Step 13. Press the down arrow
↓
until the cursor is to the left of the
REC Shutoff sub-menu.
Step 14. Press the Select button to select YES or NO.
Step 15. Press the Enter button to accept the selection.
Step 16. Press the Exit button two times to return to the operational
display.
